MADE FOR FREEDOM: Launch of Filming for the First Major Project by OURS IN THE USA

On April 14, filming began in Los Angeles for the documentary MADE FOR FREEDOM — a story about a transgender woman who left Russia in search of freedom and the right to be herself.
The first day of filming was intense and emotional. The project team immersed themselves in the heroine’s memories of childhood, early fears, and first attempts at introspection. The atmosphere of trust and shared purpose reminded everyone that this isn’t just a film shoot — it’s a true journey toward freedom, involving not only the protagonists but the entire crew.
The project brings together those who know the true cost of freedom — activists, artists, and people who have lived through exile. Together, they share stories that have long remained in the shadows. MADE FOR FREEDOM is a film about fragility and resilience, pain and healing, fear and the courage to be yourself.
Filming is ongoing.

The premiere is expected in fall 2025.
